How to Increase WhatsApp Group Limit to 1000? (Root)
As we know the current limit for the group members in a WhatsApp group is 256.
So guys here is a Small trick to increase your WhatsApp Group members! Yes. You heard it right!
You just need a rooted device to enjoy this trick.
Read below steps to
Rooted device
– ES File explorer
– WhatsApp (Installed)
Steps to Follow:-
• Open ES File Explore. Make you sure that root access is ON.
• Open the following directory and edit the WhatsApp_Preferences.
Path of Directory:- data/data/com.whatsapp/shared_prefs/
• Edit the WhatsApp_Preferences.xml file using the Editor
• Once you found the above mentioned location, you have to do find WhatsApp_Prefrences.xml file and modify, Below is the part of the file which you will have to modify so that you can add more than the existing whatsapp group limit. Look for “int name=”participants_size_limit” value=”100″
• Now replace 100 with any number you want
• Now Restart the device or Force stop WhatsApp
• Open the WhatsApp and create new group and add members, you will see that the member limit is 1000 maximum participants.
